In 1984 The upstairs consisted of only the patchwork quilt bedroom, Willow Bathroom, Kitchen and Living room. Then in 1985, a screened porch was added along the entire north wall. Our daughter was born in 1988. In 1989, the Family room, Stars and Moon bedroom , OSU bedroom and shell 1/2Bathroom were added - they are 3' lower than the older rooms and there is a short staircase in the family room. In 1994 the kitchen was redone and half of the screened porch was weatherized and converted into the dining room - it is one foot lower than the kitchen

In 1984, The downstairs consisted of the workshop, battery bathroom, weight room and a garage which occupied the space which is presently the kids playroom. The woodshed was added to the north side of the house in 1985. After the birth of our daughter, we added the garage and pool room to the east side of the house and converted the Garage to a play room. The greenhouse was added a couple of years later.

ATTICS: Both the original house (west side) and the addition (east side) have full attics. The attics both have windows, lights and AC/DC power. Attics have been used as: storage, model race car/n-gauge train land, American doll world, guest room, quiet office and spinning/weaving room

STORAGE SHEDS

There is some storage space in the garage. Additionally, There is a bicycle shed on the east side of the house and a tool shed on the west side of the house.

LIVING ROOM

Craft table in foreground of picture seats 8 if you throw a table cloth on it.	West end of south wall of living room (Picture taken from attic stairs) - piano is built into alcove next to window seat with the dormer window. A small cluster of furniture makes a 'music room' area. West facing window looks out onto woods.

back to floor plans	East wall of living room. to the left is the attic staircase which has built in storage drawers beneath the landing area and angles up from a 3 foot base to a 4 foot opening. The three paneled doors slide open to reveal the pantry and the door to the far right opens into a deep walk-in storage cabinet which spans the width of the underlying staircase.	Northwest corner of the living room with woodstove. Woodstove has a cook top option and can be used for cooking in winter (makes a nice flower arrangement when its not too cold). Octagon table is a bumper pool table with an alternative poker table top. Door closest to woodstove area opens into quilt bedroom, second door opens into willow bathroom.

The pantry makes up a good chunk of the east wall of the living room. It is 8' long and has 7 shelves each 2'wide. It is fronted by three sliding doors.

POOL ROOM

Northeast end of pool room. in the far upper left corner you can see bits of the skull collection. Woodstove has plenum attachment to disperse heat into family room above. Juke box and one pool table can stay with house.

Southeast end of poolroom has two 5 foot wide windows to make the room bright all year. The record album collection is housed in colorful cubes which double as seating. DC turntable, CD player, radio provide music for pool players.

West wall of pool room. Door exits to garage. Most of the slide rule collection can be seen as well as a corner of the skull collection. to the left of the slide rules is a staircase which leads up to the kid playroom.

The weight room has a gym mat floor. It has the weight bench, stair stepper, bicycle generator and storage areas for biking, skiing, snowboarding.... equipment

The bicycle generator sits along the east wall of the weight room - the bike is connected to the generator at the rear wheel and a wall mounted monitor lets you see how much energy you are generating. the bike generator feeds into the battery bank in the sunflower bathroom

PLAYROOM

The playroom is fronted by the greenhouse to which it is connected by two sets of sliding glass doors. In the northwest corner is a woodstove which has a water heating coil. Next to that, out of the picture is the door to the workshop. the closet on the right side of the picture is midpoint of the playroom and houses the preheat tank for the copper cricket hot water heating system. East of that, out of the picture, is the door to the sunflower bathroom and in the northeast corner is the door to the weight room.

SCREENED DECK/ WOODSHED
back to floor plans	The northwest corner of the house is a screened in roofed deck. Most of our summer meals are eaten here. There is a separate alcove for the grill so we don't get smoke in our eyes.	The screened deck is the upstairs room on the right of the picture. Stairs lead down to the back yard and a door on the east end leads into the dining room. The entire area under the screened porch and the dining room is wood storage. The space under the stairs holds lawn care items and the space under the grill alcove houses the propane tank.
